Your Rebel Therapist.

Lalanea Chastain, MPA, LCSW, LSCSW

Nothing will shock me.

There’s nothing you could bring into our work that I’ll shy away from. I’ve lived it, witnessed it, or held space for it—and I know that even the messiest behaviors often come from brilliant brains trying to survive a painful world.

I’m a therapist who specializes in working with big-feeling, deep-thinking, highly reactive humans—especially those who have felt “too much” for most of their lives. Many of my clients have been in therapy for years. They’re tired of just talking. They’re ready for a real shift. That’s where I come in.

My approach blends Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with Internal Family Systems (IFS)—two powerful, evidence-based methods that are all about building insight, self-compassion, and actual tools for everyday life. I’m a Level 2 Therapist with the IFS Institute and a Third Wave therapist, which means I help you stop fighting your thoughts and feelings, and start changing how you relate to them. Instead of chasing perfection, we build psychological flexibility, self-trust, and resilience.

I’m proud to be a trailblazer in combining DBT and IFS. Together, they help us address the behaviors that are causing harm without pathologizing you. You are not broken—you just need tools that work better.

I specialize in ADHD, neurodivergence, and personality disorders, and I offer both 1:1 therapy and skills-based DBT groups. I believe therapy should feel active and useful. That’s why I also offer between-session support and strategies—because healing doesn’t only happen during our call.

If you’ve been from therapist to therapist… if you feel like your emotions are running the show… if you’re ready for a non-pathologizing, strategy-filled, deeply validating approach—welcome.
Let’s get to work.
